The International Data Management Team is responsible for all processes related to global data management within DKMS.
Together, we develop standards, ensure quality, and support our international locations in implementing efficient and sustainable processes.
To strengthen our International Data Management team at our Cologne or Tübingen location , we are looking for a
International Data Management Expert (m/f/d) (Full-time, permanent)
YOUR TASKS:
- Development, implementation, documentation and monitoring of global processes and quality standards in data management - both as part of a team and independently
- Analysis of developments in data management processes
- Assessment of technical and operational impacts, as well as derivation and implementation of concrete next steps.
- Proactive support of our local data management teams and ensuring compliance with country-specific requirements
- Planning, coordination and execution of workshops with international stakeholders
- Continuous optimization and structuring of training concepts for systems, processes and operational topics in data management
- Management and promotion of projects and participation in cross-departmental and global initiatives – for example as Data Owner or Data Use Purpose Owner
- Taking on the interface function to IT and initiating new technical developments and process improvements, as well as assuming roles such as Business Unit IT Coordinator or Product Owner.
- When setting up new DKMS locations, you will make a significant contribution to the success of our mission through the analysis, assurance, and implementation of data management processes.
OUR REQUIREMENTS:
- Completed Bachelor's degree – ideally in IT, business or healthcare
- Relevant professional experience, preferably in an international environment
- Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
- Good knowledge of database management
- Excellent knowledge of project management
- Experience in quality assurance and process optimization
- Independent, structured and team-oriented work style
- Excellent communication skills and a high degree of empathy
- Intercultural competence and strong problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel internationally (up to 30 days per year)
