As Statistician within Bioprocess Development Biologicals you assure state-of-the-art biostatistics for the development of biopharmaceuticals. With a passion for pharmaceutical products you provide statistical evaluations throughout the whole product lifecycle.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • You develop and define state-of-the-art and reliable statistical methods and concepts, which also aim for higher quality, efficiency and improved compliance.
  • In your new role you ensure a timely analysis for all types of statistical consideration within biopharmaceuticals Drug Substance & Drug Product for NBE- and Biosimilar-projects.
  • With your experience you provide high quality statistics for submission documents.
  • Thanks to your broad expertise you act as an internal consultant for process and analytical development including planning and analysis of DoE (QbD).
  • Moreover, you are responsible for single and multifactorial data analysis and you also work on biological root-cause-analysis.
  • Your networking and communication skills enable you to build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders and to realize statistical trainings for scientists. 

Requirements

  • PhD or Master`s degree, Diploma in Biostatistics, Biometry or Mathematics
  • Programming know-how in GNU-R, SAS
  • Good knowledge in statistical experiment planning (DoE) and concerning software like Design Expert, Modde, Jmp
  • Good knowledge in Principal Component analysis and statistical tests
  • Expertise with bayesian statistics can be of advantage
  • Experience in the (bio-) pharmaceutical industry is of advantage, especially within cell culture and protein purification
