Job Description

Your tasks:

  • Support agile Backend and Analytics teams in all matters of quality assurance
  • Understand machine learning algorithms and create test scenarios accordingly
  • Monitor data integrity and validity of our big data warehouse
  • Create and enforce acceptance criteria for issues and feature stories
  • Verify and document bugs and anomalies
  • Take ownership of data- and feature-quality
  • Monitor achieved quality continuously

Our requirements:

  • At least 12 months relevant work experience in the field of Data or QA
  • Strong knowledge of Big Data warehouses (e.g. Google BigQuery or Hadoop)
  • Good knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Go or Python as well as of SQL
  • Practical knowledge in QA related topics such as systematic test-case specification, explorative testing and regression testing
  • Practical experience in software development, including agile development (Kanban or Scrum), version control systems (Git) and CI (e.g. Jenkins)
  • Experience in data engineering is a plus
  • Strong team- and communication-skills
  • Very good command of English, verbal as well as in writing
