A vacancy for a “Data Engineer” (d/f/m) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join “Engineering Data Management”.
Tasks & accountabilities
Engineering Data Management plays a key role on the way to "digital engineering". Some emerging projects, such as the completely digital development of an unmanned drone or the increasing international operation within the group, require new processes and systems in the area of data management.
As a data engineer, you not only have the task of developing new systems, you are also responsible for the administration and monitoring of existing database systems. Should complications arise in the functioning of a database, you as a data engineer will be significantly involved in identifying the weak points and working out a prompt solution to the problem.
