Durable, versatile, expressive, creative: these are the words that describe the values of the edding Group of companies. The company was founded in 1960 by CarlWilhelm Edding and Volker Detlef Ledermann. Their very first product, the legendary allround marker No. 1, served as a blueprint for generations of markers to follow. From what was once a twoman business, an international operation has emerged with around 600 employees. Today, the company’s products are sold in over 110 countries worldwide.
There are over 180 products in the edding range, from the classic permanent marker to special products such as the CD marker and the clean room marker and including products for DIYers and artandcraft enthusiasts. Alongside edding, the premium brand for markers and writing implements, the company also operates globally under the Legamaster brand. Legamaster is a successfully established supplier of products for visual communication such as electronic interactive systems, flipcharts and whiteboards.
In the course of a comprehensive Consumer Centricity programme, we want to significantly expand our knowledge of our target groups in marketing and sales. The goal is to get to know our consumers so well to satisfy application needs ideally. This also includes the analytical and contentrelated competence of translating strategic questions into relevant data pools from which the corresponding answers can be generated.
