Through the Data Driven Products initiative, we are taking our mission to reduce the main inefficiencies in transport logistics to a whole new level with data-driven solutions. The aim is to identify further optimization potentials that we implement in existing and new business models.

  • Support in the preparation and evaluation of data as well as the visualization of complex issues
  • Creation and improvement of machine learning models as well as support for deployment
  • Development of proof-of-concepts for the further expansion of our data-driven products
  • Support in the identification and implementation of improvement and expansion potential of the infrastructure in the field of data science

qualification

  • Study of Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, (Economic) Computer Science, Physics or comparable degree
  • Ideally already completed projects in the area of ​​Data Science or Data Analysis
  • Experience with Python and the PyData ecosystem (eg, Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, Jupyter notebooks) or R / Julia as well as with relational databases (SQL, especially PostgreSQL)
  • Knowledge of methods in the area of ​​machine learning or deep learning (regression & classification), especially in application to structured data
  • Profound knowledge of software development and the associated best practices are an advantage
  • Strong conceptual skills, an innovative and creative mindset and passion for new technologies and methods
  • Outstanding analytical skills and fun to apply to complex issues and tangibly convey the results
