Medical Data Analyst / Data Scientist (m / w / d)

What awaits you:

Big data, machine learning and methods of natural language processing are central elements of the digital transformation of our clinics. They actively support the transfer to the broad application by assuming tasks in the field of:

  • Conception and analysis of the structure and content of medical records
  • Development and piloting of application scenarios in the area of ​​process-optimizing data analysis
  • Planning and development of strategies for data collection and extraction from internal and external source
  • Visualization of the analysis results and derivation of recommended actions
  • Collaboration in innovative projects in the field of digital health data and eHealth
  • Presentation of the results at all decision levels and moderation of workshops
  • Evaluation of new technologies and concepts in the healthcare sector
  • Development of application and integration scenarios in existing systems

What do we expect from you?

  • Successfully completed studies in computer engineering, medical, biotechnology or business computer science or computational linguistics or comparable qualifications
  • Ideally, knowledge of common medical terminologies and ontologies (ICD, MedDRA, SNOMED, ​​UMLS, LOINC) and process knowledge in the hospital or healthcare field
  • Project experience in data science, machine learning and natural language processing, ideally with health data
  • Experience in the application of OCR technologies and data extraction
  • Knowledge of relational databases (SQL) and ETL processes
  • Experience in common programming and scripting languages ​​(Python, R, Perl, Java) and libraries eg. Eg TensorFlow
  • Good IT knowledge in the area of ​​server / client infrastructures
  • Service-oriented and friendly appearance, communication and presentation strength, team-oriented work, resilience
  • Willingness for on-site project assignments in Group clinics
