You should bring that with you:

  • A graduate degree (Master / Diploma) with very good grades, eg computer science, mathematics, physics, economics
  • Approximately 2 years of practical experience in AI topics (eg Recommender Systems, Natural Language Processing, Image Recognition, Robotics)
  • First practical experience of project acquisition and management of smaller project teams
  • Solid programming skills (in Python and / or R) and database experience (eg MySQL, MongoDB, Apache Hadoop)
  • First experience with visualization tools (eg Tableau, KNIME, Dataiku, D3.js)
  • An understanding of common software development processes is a plus (eg Requirements Engineering, Testing, Scrum / Kanban)
  • Enjoyment of learning and experimentation (eg new data, technologies and conceptual approaches)
  • Teamwork, empathy, confident demeanor, good time management, hands-on mentality and humor
  • Secure communication skills in German and English
