Job Purpose (Job Summary):
Invesco Quantitative Strategies (IQS) today manages around 33bn USD of equity and multi-asset strategies including liquid alternatives, low volatility, enhanced indexation and balanced solutions. The team is based in Boston, Frankfurt, Melbourne, New York and Tokyo. The global Research Team comprises ~20 research analysts who are dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the quantitative models that drive our investment process. In these efforts, IQS is constantly bridging theory and practice, keeping strong ties with the academic community. In addition to our work in research and development of the forecast models, we also design and build the technical platform to manage the portfolios of our clients. IQS employ state of the art analytical methods and financial models including Deep (Machine) Learning/Artificial Intelligence algorithms to continuously improve our forecasts. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our global Research Team: • Work on innovative research projects, targeted at the enhancement and evolution of our proprietary multi-factor return, risk and transaction cost models • Research areas include factor research, optimization, portfolio construction and trading • Development of new investment products • Investigate new data sources including alternative data for augmenting investment strategies and products.
