We are looking for a Data Engineer to start in our office in Berlin, Germany!

You will be part of a team that is responsible for building services that utilize delivery to various stakeholders, supporting data driven decisions as well as large scale software systems.

Tasks

  • Maintain, contribute to our existing data pipelines, help optimize our data transformation processes.
  • Improve our data model, both event and data warehouse level.
  • Support software architecture decisions, participate in code reviews
  • Participate in planning and decision making
  • Help development of our continuous integration processes and infrastructure as code basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or MS in Computer Sciences, Engineering or equivalent
  • Solid Python and SQL skills
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases
  • Proficiency with AWS Ecosystem, Snowflake is a plus
  • Familiarity with Bash scripts
  • Know your way around with version control tools
  • Great to have: Strong skills in business to technical translation
  • Bonus points for Terraform or other IaaC
