  • You have successfully completed your studies in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or similar.
  • Experience with FEA and CFD analysis.
  • Ability to assess, recommend and design new concepts and ideas for modification of aerospace platforms.
  • Knowledge on navigation is an advantage.
  • Software and tools: STK, CAD Software (Autodesk Inventor, …), Simulation tools (ANSYS, Comsol, …).
  • Ability to travel worldwide.
  • Good English skills. Knowledge of German is an advantage.
  • Team-player with good communication skills for interdisciplinary teams.
  • You are a results-oriented, reliable and pro-active person, who works responsibly and independently.
What you bring with you
  • Practical machining experience with diamond turning CNC machines (SPDT) and high precision optics.
  • Experience in manufacturing optical surfaces, complex, tight tolerance parts.
  • Strong understanding of numerical control (NC) programming.
  • CMM experience is a plus.
  • Expertise in related optical and laser metrology equipment.
  • Root cause, and corrective action experience is a plus.
  • Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) experience.
