Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement clinical biomarker strategies in collaboration with clinical department
  • Identify Contract Research Organizations (CROs) for outsourced biomarker testing in the context of clinical trials
  • Manage CRO interaction (contracting, oversight including data base setup, timelines and monitoring of data integrity)
  • Develop technical protocols, monitor and report on outsourced activities, including assay transfer and method validation studies
  • Analyze and report biomarker results in context of clinical outcome data
  • Interact with clinical project teams in regard to biomarker-related topics including strategic alignment, budget oversight, preparation of biomarker sections of clinical study protocols, eCRF, ICF and clinical study report

Your Requirements

  • PhD in the field of life sciences, complemented by relevant industry experience, more than two years
  • Track record in clinical trial biomarker research, preferably including experience in CRO management
  • In-depth understanding of immunology, cell biology and oncology
  • Experience or interest in biostatistics and R programming
  • Expertise in drug development of biologics, ideally monoclonal antibodies
  • Preferably experience in flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry or next generation sequencing
  • Experience in GCP/GCLP environment
  • Team player with well-developed interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent communication skills in English
