Job description

In your new role you will:

  • Contribute to the global innovation process as FMEA moderator in development teams
  • Introduce a new FMEA software platform (Plato) within division Industrial Power and Control (IPC) by acting as role model and trainer
  • Implement QM business model elements and QM relevant methodological improvements into IPC division as responsible project leader
  • Strengthen the QM network including corporate QM-, frontend/backend QM- and division QM-units to foster best practice sharing
  • Improve the problem solving (8D) competence within IPC by acting as 8D-moderator, coaching and supervising of experts
  • Establish a culture of learning from underlying root causes, e.g. by execution of 3x5 Why- and knowledge management workshops and by acting as a role model

Your Profile

You are able to take in information quickly, see the root causes of problems and develop suitable solutions for them. With your experience you actively promote a learning climate in your area in which problems and mistakes are discussed openly and seen as an opportunity for improvements. Furthermore you inspire others for your innovative ideas and create a positive mindset for quality awareness.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience with FMEA, ideally in the semiconductor industry
  • Good knowledge in quality systems, methods, procedures and tools (e.g. risk management, 8D and six sigma)
  • Good project experience with proven problem solving capabilities, ideally in an international set-up
  • Excellent experience in preparing and delivering trainings or facilitating workshops
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills as well as comprehensive communication ability, German would be a big advantage
