AiSight builds a plug-and-play hardware and software solution that uses machine data, to predict and prevent machine malfunction using self-learning AI algorithms. This tremendously increases machine uptime, output and productivity and significantly cuts companies service and maintenance costs.

Our Team is holding master’s degrees from respected universities such as ETH Zurich, ESCP Europe, UC Berkeley and Zeppelin University. Additionally, we have many years of professional experience each, at companies like Porsche, Bilfinger Berger, ABB, Holtzbrinck Digital or BTG Pactual and multiple startups in Silicon Valley, Southeast Asia, Brazil and Berlin. We recently secured a major financing round.

Tasks

We are looking for a Head of Electrical Engineering, who is willing to own a product from concept to production at our humble enterprise.

  • You’ll design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve the software.
  • You’ll lead designs of major software components, systems, and features.
  • You’ll mentor and train other team members on design techniques and coding standards.
  • You’ll make timely strategic decisions on complicated and ambiguous technical problems.
  • You’ll work closely with engineering partners and stakeholders to drive organizational alignment.
  • You will take part in major company decisions.

Requirements

  • MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
  • Experience architecting and developing solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact.
  • At least 5 years of experience coding in C/C++.
  • Experience with FreeRTOS development
  • Knowledge and experience with Unix/Linux environments.
  • Knowledge of embedded systems development/ firmware, operating systems, device drivers, ARM, x86 assembly, system BIOS or hardware/software integration.
