We are seeking a Data Engineer that will be engaged in architecting and designing various data structures and pipelines in sonnen. As Data engineer you will be part of the established Business Intelligence unit in sonnen and you will have a profound impact in further designing our cloud-based data lake and ensure that single source of truth concept is built and maintained. In this role you will also have an opportunity to impact how common reporting data repository is shaped where a combination of various data is needed to create a large picture of how sonnen’s business is performing on day to day basis.

Your responsibilities:
- Design and Architect new data structures
- Develop further our Data Lake and Data Warehouse cloud-based platforms
- Interpret data trends and patterns with the aim to understand key metrics that affect sonnen business
- Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modelling
- Build algorithms and data prototypes
- Develop and maintain datasets and data marts
- Improve Data integrity and consistency with the special focus on data quality
- Perform complex data analysis
- Asist in developing and maintaining data extraction and acquisition activities
- Perform complex data modelling
Your Profile:
- Have completed studies in Computer Science or MIS discipline or posses equivalent working experience
- have at least 2 years of Experience in Data Engineer or data related role
- Advanced SQL programming skills is something that you posses
- Have a knowledge of SQL and non-SQL databases , as well as structural and non-structural data management
- Posses a good knowledge of Python, R, and SQL.
- Have knowledge of Tableau or Power BI is recommended but not mandatory
- Posses Experience designing, building, and maintaining data processing systems
- Are passionate about exploring different data sources such as Sales Force, SAP and various unstructured and structured data
- In terms of designing data-related solutions you follow systematic-approach
- Follow Data-Flow approach when designing and implementing data pipelines
- Have experience in optimising complex queries for better performance
