Job Description
As a BI Analyst Intern (f/m/d), you will work alongside an established, experienced Data team, gaining experience across multiple areas of the teams responsibilities. You will take an active role in supporting the BI Reporting and be a key driver in the QA and documentation processes. There are further opportunities to gain experience within Digital Analytics and even Performance Marketing.
The ideal candidate is curious, analytical and passionate about data. You are eager and seek to ask questions instead of waiting on instructions. First experience in a similar role is welcome, as is experience with SQL and Data Visualisations. However, don’t let this deter you if you believe you have the profile and relevant skill-set that would allow you to immerse yourself into the role and learn on the job.
We intend to make this a full-time position after successful completion of the internship.
What you will do:
- Join the existing data team and support Asana Rebel’s data driven business culture
- You will have the opportunity to engage with the value drivers within Asana Rebel; supporting Marketing, Product, Monetization and Product teams
- With the outlook of being one of the primary owners of our BI reporting; You will become integral to maintaining and developing our existing reporting infrastructure
- Gain exposure to all business metrics and become the primary owner of all KPI & Reporting Documentation
- Closely support the existing data team in the QA of our existing data infrastructure, becoming a primary stakeholder in solving observed data anomalies & issues
- You help identify business insights through Ad-Hoc analyses
What you will need:
- Basic knowledge and experience with SQL
- Highly passionate about data, with creative problem-solving abilities and an eye for detail
- Experience with a data visualizations & BI tool (Looker experience is a plus)
- Fluid usage of Excel, especially for reporting (Pivot Table experience is a plus)
- Experience with Python / R is a plus, but not mandatory
- Experience with Web Analytics tools (GA & GTM experience is preferred)
- Excellent English communication skills (German is a plus)
