Job description

In your new role you will:

• Design, implement and test graphics software drivers and components following Automotive SPICE process
• Work closely with hardware design teams to benefit from hardware/software co-design and optimize feature implementations
• Create software applications for an embedded graphics system, e.g. application demo or use case or a case study
• Work with cross-functional teams, e.g. application and marketing teams
• Provide support to internal and external customers for graphics software products
• Create documentation for software engineering work products and for customers

Your Profile

You show a go-getter attitude with a track record of delivering high quality results under constraints. You are self-driven, enjoying challenging assignments and are a team-player that can adapt quickly to new situations. You have a winning and learning mind. Last but not least you are an effective problem solver and excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields
• 3- 5 years proven industry experience in the area of embedded C/C++ programming
• Have excellent knowledge about microcontroller programming and debugging
• Can read board schematics, work with PCBs and setup an oscilloscope
• Are familiar with the use of state-of-the art tools like:
  o Software compiler and their tool chain (e.g. MSVC, GHS, IAR)
  o Subversion (SVN), GIT
  o Life Cycle Management systems (e.g. Polarion)
• Ideally have some experience with video input sources (formats and electrically) graphics applications, Open VG, Open GL, use of graphics libraries
• Are self-driven and characterized by strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
• Very good English language skills – German would be beneficial
