Job Description

You are an experienced business analyst who will contribute significantly to the collective effort of managing and perfecting sales data content, commissions process, sales force reporting & analytics as well as interpretation of data to make informed decisions in the country/regions. In this role, you will report to and work closely with the Country/Regional Commercial Excellence Manager. You will be essential to ensure accurate and timely information to the business, which requires close and regular coordination and communication with many internal stakeholders.

A Day in the Life

Sales Data Management

  • Responsible for overall local data quality, e.g. maintenance of the sales, product and customer hierarchy
  • Is the local expert on the country structure set up and the key country liaison with the sales hierarchy maintenance team to ensure structure accurately reflects the country situation
  • Collaborates with local stakeholders in initiatives regarding country structure set up

Sales Reporting

  • Ensures that the salesforce has adequate visibility into key data and information
  • Provides training and support to the salesforce on different reports and tools
  • Provides ad-hoc reporting where necessary to meet the local requirements

Sales Enablement

  • Collects, formats and assists in the interpretation of local market intelligence data
  • Is the point of contact for analytical related questions within the country/region
  • Supports the Sales Force Effectiveness performance and governance process
  • Local support and coordination of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and other Sales Enablement tools

Incentives/Commissions Support

  • Is the Local Commissions Administrator for the country/region
  • Supports the target setting process with guidance from Commercial Excellence Manager and Operating Unit Directors
  • Performs checks on sales hierarchy alignment in line with commissions calculations
  • Supports the Sales Managers in questions relating to commissions and sales reconciliation


  • Candidate should understand the complexity of our business and the company, with 3-5 years of experience from a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin or Mathematics/Statistics or similar job experience
  • Advantage to have worked with Business Objects/SAP reporting tool or other Business Intelligence systems, as well with or other CRM systems
  • Advantage if the candidate has knowledge of local healthcare systems and or the Medical Device/LifeScience industry
  • Fluent in German and in English
  • Passion for educating/training, supporting and inspiring people
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to align people to ideas and take on challenges
  • Experienced and comfortable working with Excel
  • Well-organized with strong planning skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to internal meetings (limited basis)
