Your tasks

The role is expected to require, but is not limited to, the following aspects:

  • Building advanced automated data-driven models and integrating them into production.
  • Communicating with end-users to identify pain points, use cases, and problem definitions.
  • Supporting the data ops team in various tasks including development of ETL processes and data pipelines.
  • Contributing to design and developing the entirely new data ecosystem.
  • Working closely with stakeholders from various analytical, DevOps, and product teams.

Your profile

You are a solution-seeking, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment. Your profile includes the following key aspects:

  • A master’s degree in the field of computer science, physics, or mathematics, or a comparable field of study.
  • Strong communicative skills with an ability to explain complex topics to team members and executives.
  • Team-player, data-driven mindset with distinct analytical thinking skills along with a willingness to learn, explore, and apply the newest data technologies.
  • Advanced skills in Python (including Pandas, Numpy, and Scikit-learn) and SQL.
  • An understanding of the main principles and approaches of data ingestion, data collection, feature engineering, modeling, predicting, explaining, and diagnosing.
  • A strong command of written and spoken English.
  • An understanding of the process of designing pipelines using Airflow or Jenkins is a plus.
  • Experience with AWS infrastructure as well as object-oriented programming in Python and version control (Git) are a plus.
