Purpose of Position
Data sit at the heart of the company. Our mission is to ensure that Awin is able to leverage the data it has access to across the group and build out reporting to ensure we are able to make better commercial decisions.
As a Junior Data Integration Analyst, your responsibility is to plan, define and coordinate the integration of new data points, data applications and/or external data from various sources into Awin's data warehouse environment. You understand data requirements and can work out detailed specification documents. You are keen to combine technical with business knowledge, perform value analysis, (QA-) tests and recommend changes to the system.

Collect requirements/requests for any type of data warehouse enhancement or data project in a structured and focused way, outline specification documents to translate data projects into action
Manage daily requests and ticket backlog within your cross-functional unit (squad)
Test deployment packages to ensure the best quality of data
Proactively identify additional data points, data quality issues, reporting gaps and improvement potential
Skills & Expertise
Education in data science, data engineering, business intelligence, business administration or similar data background
Profound SQL skills or better (ideally sparkSQL), first experience with Python is a plus, supporting your strong analytical skills to translate business needs into (technical) actions.
Familiar with Power BI and/or Tableau or similar data visualisation tools
Strong project management skills, agile mindset, SCRUM/Kanban experience paired with a creative mindset
Team player with a get-things-done mentality
Strong communication and interaction skills (very good written and spoken English skills, German or another 2 nd language is a plus)
