The ZEISS Digital Partners unit based in Munich, Oberkochen and Jena is realizing cutting-edge customer-centric digital solutions jointly with the Segments of the ZEISS Group.

Your role at ZEISS Digital:

You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Data Analytics and actively contribute to the success of the digital transformation at ZEISS. In this challenging leadership function, you will shape and ensure data quality standards for further data enablement of the whole ZEISS organization. As Data Quality Lead at Zeiss Digital Partners, you are part of our Data & Analytics team and join the vibrant Zeiss data community. In this role you will define metrics to assess data quality and ensure their integration into source systems, data pipelines and catalogues. You lead a team of data quality analysts to facilitate scalable use of our data management infrastructure. You will be part of cross-functional project teams that deliver hands-on business value to our different business units across ZEISS.

You have:

  • An excellent university degree, preferably computer science, engineering or similar fields
  • A passion for data, data insights and data visualization
  • At least 3+ years of professional experience in master data, content, reference and product data management
  • Ability to build superb data pipelines and catalogues
  • Experience in leading agile teams with the ability to create actionable outcomes
  • Ability to establish concepts for clean data generation
  • Experience in working along existing data governance frameworks with responsibility for data quality such as DAMA, DCAM etc.
  • A cloud-native mindset with experience in the Microsoft Azure environment and database systems (SQL and No-SQL)
  • Structured and detail oriented way of working
  • A solid understanding of data engineering and machine learning
  • Experience with Python and autoML is a plus
  • A talent for analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
  • Fluent English, German language skills are a plus
