Job Description

As a Software Developer for development tools and virtual prototyping you provide Software Development Kits (SDKs) which enable our internal and external customers to develop and debug software for our secure micro-controllers.
In your new role you will:

  • Design, implement and test SDK components like simulators for virtual hardware prototyping, debug engines and compiler components
  • Integrate the components to form a SDK
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the released SDK components which requires analysis and debugging in a complex system environment (bug fixes, change requests)
  • Work as part of an agile Scrum development teams collaborating to reach the goals of the team

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or in a related field
  • At least 4 years of professional/industry experience
  • Excellent expertise in object-oriented programming e.g. C++, the development of data structures and algorithms
  • Knowledge of the implementation of virtual prototypes (e.g. with SystemC / TLM) is an advantage
  • Experience in developing and debugging code with IDEs like Microsoft Visual Studio and Eclipse in a Windows/Linux environment
  • Good understanding of the hardware architecture of microcontrollers (e.g. ARM Cortex)
  • Knowledge of embedded software development e.g. using C and appropriate development environments (e.g. Keil µVision) is advantageous
  • Experience with version management tools like GIT and bug tracking tools like Jira
  • Experience in working together in agile Scrum teams
  • Teamplayer with very good communication skills
  • Fluent in English, German would be a plus
