Purpose:

  • Analysis with which strategies the processes in the Land Transport business might be
  • improved and monitoring the economic and technical implementation of new requirements


Main Tasks:Accountable

  • Design, develop, implement, support and maintain business reporting solutions from
  • existing or to be created data sources
  • Preparation of feasibility analyses
  • Cost-benefit analysis
  • Prepare data-based decision-making and action recommendations in the context of corpo-rate objectives for management
  • Develop and implement tools, and processes to increase efficiency
  • Drive Revenue reporting with focus on demand/ supply related KPIs
  • Handle Accounts management


Responsible

  • Evaluation of the analyses and visualization (e.g. Excel, Power Point)
  • Advice and support of the Cluster in building up reports
  • Definition of data standards / setting of standards with respect to data quality
  • Turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions
  • Monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements
  • Interpret data, analyze results statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other
  • strategies that optimize business efficiency and quality
  • Acquire from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases
  • Identify, analyze and interpret business trends or patterns in complex data set

  • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct data (numbers) problems
  • Build systems to transforms raw data into actionable business insights
  • Extract reports from multiple sources (e.g operations, IT, feedback from Clusters)
  • Prepare data-based decision-making and action recommendations
  • Prepare cost-benefit analysis
  • Perform Ad-Hoc and reoccurring analysis; support CoDi and Terminal Handling team
  • Active advancement of continuous improvement of data quality
  • Drive harmonization, standardization and application of Land transport processes, KPI and reporting
  • Participate in internal control reviews within Region Europe


I3 to 5 years in finance / controlling or directly as a Business Analist.Advanced skills in MS Office (especially in Excel)Experience in Power BI (development skills are not necessary, but would be good to improve the quality of our Dashboard within a shorter time frame).Base Frankfurt am MainEnglish Language required, German would be an advantage.
