Job Description

Wireless Technologies & Ecosystems (WTE) team is looking for an outstanding data scientist with a passion for statistical analysis, product experimentation, building predictive models, and designing end to end frameworks to gather analytical insights. The team is responsible for cellular product data analytics. We are a multidisciplinary team covering different competences including cellular engineering, data pipelining, data engineering, data science, data analytics, software development and machine learning.   • Proven experience applying machine learning algorithms to understand real-world data
  • Solid software engineering skills in a multi-language environment (Python, Java, Objective C, Swift)
  • Experience with data mining / data analysis and data visualization
  • Experience in developing applications for iOS
  • Knowledge in database and data manipulation (SQL)
  • Ability to quickly learn new development environments and APIs
  • Comfortable with quick context switching between several projects
  • Excellent debugging and problem solving skills
  • Good data storytelling and communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Great teammate
  • Understanding of wireless systems is a plus

Description- Use crowd source data to extract crucial information that can be provided to devices. This information is used by the device to optimize wireless/cellular communication - Build A/B test framework and schedule product experimentation campaigns to benchmark performance of different features/algorithms - Improve data analytics automation by detecting and predicting trends (take data from both SQL and non-SQL databases) - Build and improve Apple’s anomaly detection and root causing framework to identify pre and post launch software performance issues in a timely manner - Apply various predictive models and deploy ML based models in Apple products - Interface with various technology teams within the product development organization, onboarding different technology domains to centralized anomaly detection framework and present analytical insightsEducation & ExperienceMasters or PhD Degree in Computer Science/Informatics, Computer/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
