The Apple Modem System Test team are seeking an intern to learn and grow by helping us. Join us and get a glimpse of how Apple delivers the best technology in the industry! As an intern you will be writing software to improve the verification of the latest Apple cellular products. We want to hear about new insights, so we can improve and speed up our development using the automation you build. You will be building on existing frameworks. An expert team is there to help and guide you.Key Qualifications

  • Keen curiosity about cellular communications with knowledge of 3GPP (3G/4G/5G) standards
  • Experience in a programming language, preferably Python
  • Experience with creating test automation scripts to run in lab and/or regression environment
  • Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Eagerness to learn new things and take up new challenges
  • Ability to work in an international environment
  • Available for 6 months or more

DescriptionOur team ensures Apple products comply to the highest standards in the radio cellular domain. Help us creating an end-to-end test automation environment for mobile communications using our existing SW tools. The targets of the internship include: - Test campaign management and optimisation - Smart results data processing - Automatic sync of different versions of test development tools - Automatic sync scripts repository structures - Development of scripts to extract information from text files to create databases/spreadsheets. - Debugging of automation code and enhancements The candidate will gain knowledge of NW simulators. Additionally you will get familiar with tools for maintenance and execution of basic regression campaigns and result consolidation/reporting. As a member of this team, the candidate will have the chance to - Learn about latest cellular technologies - Make use of your programming and scripting skills - Get exposed to the Apple culture and the way we workEducation & ExperienceCurrently enrolled in a Master Degree program in Electrical Engineering or Physics or Computer Science/engineering or equivalent.
