Our team, Global Business Services Master Data Management (GBS MDM) defines, implements, and maintains Master Data related processes on enabling IT platforms and deploys these solutions into new business areas or countries around the world.
As Process Expert / Manager, you work in a strong team and contribute to the:

  • deployment of our material and product template processes and solutions into new countries and business areas.
  • implementation projects on platforms like SAP or Informatica in an agile working mode.
  • maintenance and improvement of our applications and processes to further streamline and optimize our templates.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • In your new role, you collect requirements from our user community, evaluate the corresponding business needs and map those to our template processes and solutions.
  • You will play a key role in defending our templates during the deployments and will drive actively required transformations to enable our stakeholders to integrate into our standardized way of working.
  • As process expert, you ensure knowledge transfer of master data handling to Service Delivery, OPUs and your colleagues.
  • With your expertise, you actively contribute to various projects mostly handled in a hybrid-agile approach using KANBAN or SCRUM to be able to deliver fast and flexible.

As Process Manager, you additionally take over the following tasks:

  • You independently manage small and midsize global deployment projects for the area of MDM and ensure successful completion by keeping track of milestones, stakeholder needs and client satisfaction.
  • You play a key role in the design and governance definition of our processes around the business needs within a build and deploy team – becoming an expert of certain business-critical processes e.g. global material master data management or global supply chain master data management.


  • Bachelor, Diploma or master’s degree in the field of (business) computer science, business administration, industrial engineering or equivalent or long-term professional experience with comparable training in the field of master data management
  • Process experience in the product development and/or production process in the pharma industry and/or process manufacturing
  • Good experience in Data Maintenance and profound experience with Product/ Material Master Data Management
  • Functional and/or Technical know-how in the SAP environment with a special focus on master data solutions (e.g. SAP MDG, SAP MDM or SAP MM)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a very high level of personal responsibility and motivation
  • Team player with intercultural awareness and excellent communication skills in German and English

As Process Manager:

  • You additionally have project management experience as well as experiences in running and moderating workshops, preferably using agile methods
  • Extensive experience in Data Maintenance and profound experience with Product/ Material Master Data Management in various business areas and/or industries
