What is the Risk & Vulnerability team doing?

Cyber security is a practice of risk mitigation and therefore it is critical to have a clear understanding of the assets (both data and infrastructure), and the risk associated with such assets. This enables and determines priorities, appropriate security controls recommendations and implementations (architecture), and an understanding of residual risk within the business.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Collate data sources, manage and translate cyber security related risks in line with ERM

  • Manage and maintain Cyber security risk platforms

  • Continuously follow up the security risks and escalate Crisis Management Department in case of major risks

  • Derive Cyber security risk framework and threat taxonomy into data models and implement them with relevant stakeholders

  • Collaborate with other security departments to collect Risk Appetite and specific business risk tolerance

  • Drive the company-wide security risk/threat profiling and trends identification (proactive analysis)

  • Coordinate and collaborate for matters of cyber security risk across Airbus and with the authorities

This role will involve some travel for business (once a quarter) in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Your boarding pass:

  • Master's Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline

  • Work experience in the Cyber Security area

  • Knowledge on Risk Management

  • Experience in multiple domains (IT/OT/Products) would be a plus

  • Good ability to understand complex environments (solutions, networks, mix of IT/OT & products...)

  • Strong security controls solutions knowledge

  • Negotiation, collaboration and communication skills in an international context

  • Willingness to stay up-to-date on technical skills

  • Resourceful and problem solving skills

  • Business fluency in English, German language skills are a plus
