Do you love verifying new semiconductors for automotive applications? You have realized that tomorrow’s technology is being developed today? As a System Application Engineer for Motor Control Solutions, you will act on new automotive trends and define Infineon offerings that make modern cars cleaner, safer and more convenient. Moreover, you will drive a system approach and enable future Go2Market activities from the start.
In your new role you will:

  • Define, execute and document the results of system tests for motor control ICs on simulation environments and on silicon
  • Create and test embedded software in C for microcontrollers (Aurix and EmbeddedPower ICs) on simulation environments and on silicon
  • Analyze behavior and proof of concept of gate drivers and motor control algorithms for BLDC motors on simulation environments and on silicon
  • Define and create test setups for the laboratory
  • Define and develop evaluation boards and reference designs in Altium and the corresponding documentation
  • Support customer questions with lab measurements
  • Create documents like application notes

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A degree in electrical engineering or similar
  • 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience e.g. in System Application Engineering or Technical Marketing
  • First experience with Aurix, Embedded Power ICs and gate drivers for BLDC motors
  • Basic knowledge about motor control algorithms and BLDC motors
  • First experience in PCB Design with Altium Designer would be a plus
  • Good knowledge in embedded C programming and lab work
  • Fluent in English , German as plus
