Public Value Technologies GmbH, founded at the end of 2022 from Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR) and together with Südwestrundfunk (SWR), has established itself as an innovative player in the field of digital infrastructures. A strong visual identity was created with the pub. brand – after three years of successful existence, the company has presented itself with a revised brand identity since April 2025: pub. has become pub.tech. With this change, Public Value Technologies GmbH underscores both its origins and its technological focus. Public Value Technologies GmbH develops and operates digital infrastructures for public broadcasters (and beyond). Founded at the end of 2022, it combines technological innovation with the values ​​of public broadcasters and actively shapes the digital future. In addition to Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR), Südwestrundfunk (SWR) is also a shareholder. Based in Munich, the company now employs around 100 people.
