Azure, R, Python, API lighten you up and Data Warehouse, Data Vault and ETL-Processes are your strengths. You are excited by the prospect of optimizing our e-commerce data to support our next generation of products and data initiatives.  YOUR TASK Create and maintain optimal data pipes and data warehouse models to realize our vision of Data access for all and help our analysts to bring insights, and to enable us to make business decisions Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, among which: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability Build data sources required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of systems, using ETL tools, SQL and Azure technologies for integration, consolidation and cleansing Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipes to provide actionable insights into our customer behaviour, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics Create data tools for analytics team members leveraging scoring algorithms to bring the analytics to a next level of data science Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems YOUR PROFILE Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems or another quantitative field 3+ years of experience in ETL specialist, Data Engineering or similar role (ideally on the Oracle Stack) You are proficient in English, which is our work language; German is a plus You are very organized, You enjoy to be part of the team and contribute to the common success with your work and your knowledge, that you are happy to share with your colleagues Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases Affinity with data modeling, performance tuning, data representation Experience in big data processing with Spark and other big data tools, Python and/or R, API design are a plus And you share our passion for Data and eCommerce!
