At the same time, we follow the tradition of a unique institution: the German notary office. The Federal Chamber of Notaries represents around 7,000 German notaries at home and abroad and maintains the infrastructure for notarial activities. Highly motivated employees from a wide range of disciplines work together every day to achieve this. Our office in Berlin is centrally located on the attractive Gendarmenmarkt. The Federal Chamber of Notaries is a corporation under public law and is therefore a secure, economic-independent and responsible employer. At the same time, however, we have no "bureaucratic dust" - we live a modern office culture. The IT department of the Federal Chamber of Notaries, with currently around 140 employees, plays a special role in this. It is responsible for the development and operation of an extensive procedural landscape. We develop complex, highly secure IT systems with a service-oriented architecture. We are constantly working on new projects and expanding our portfolio of innovative IT solutions that make notarial processes even more efficient and secure. We are guided by the aim of not only supporting the digital transformation in the public sector, but also actively shaping it.
