With FITKO (Federal IT Cooperation), the IT Planning Council has created an agile organization to purposefully coordinate and advance the digitalization of public administration. The federal and state governments agree: Germany's administration should become a leader in the field of digitalization. This goal requires cooperation at all federal levels and the development of new implementation strategies – so that IT solutions are created that are both beneficial and serve users. Existing committee and decision-making structures in IT matters must be simplified and made more effective. Flexible yet consistent cooperation that keeps pace with the pace of digitalization is necessary. As FITKO, we combine the necessary skills and resources to help implement the decisions of the IT Planning Council. We see ourselves as a learning organization that views change processes as an opportunity for personal development. Through flat hierarchies, transparent communication, targeted personnel development, and collaborative process design, we aim to achieve a high level of innovation in order to meet the demands placed on us as an agile and flexible organization. Our collaboration is characterized by appreciation and trust in all employees. We value personal responsibility, self-organization, and personal commitment. Traditional management and innovative methods are not mutually exclusive for us. We believe that diversity opens up new perspectives and promotes creativity, innovation, and success. Therefore, we welcome everyone who shares these values and wants to support FITKO's work with commitment and expertise.
