In Hesse, a three-tiered tax administration with over 11,000 employees is dedicated to various tax-related tasks. The highest authority is the Hessian Ministry of Finance in Wiesbaden. The Frankfurt am Main Regional Finance Directorate, as the intermediate authority, is responsible for the administrative and technical supervision of our 28 Hessian tax offices. These, in turn, represent the most important service units for the citizens of Hesse. With its study center in Rotenburg an der Fulda, the Hessian tax administration has its own university and training center, where future tax officials for the intermediate and higher-level civil service are trained. The Hessian Central Office for Data Processing (HZD), the Hessian Competence Center for New Public Management (HCC), and the Hessian State Construction and Real Estate Agency (LBIH) also fall within its remit. The Hessian tax administration offers a wide range of interesting and challenging development and career opportunities in all areas. Legal notice: https://finanzen.hessen.de/impressum
