As a Cloud/AI Platform Engineer (m/f/d), you will shape the future of our AI-driven cloud infrastructure and enable over 40 teams to access state-of-the-art cloud and AI technologies. You
will be responsible for all Google Cloud Platform (GCP) activities within our organization and help us build the next generation of intelligent cloud platforms.

GenAI Infrastructure & Cutting-Edge Technologies

• You will assist in the development and operation of GenAI agents and AI platforms using n8n, Google Agentspace, Vertex AI, and the latest GenAI frameworks.
• You use vibe coding and AI-supported development processes through state-of-the-art workflow automation and intelligent self-service platforms.
• You advise teams on the technical implementation of innovative AI use cases and develop scalable architectures for machine learning workloads.
• You work with state-of-the-art technologies at the forefront of the AI ​​revolution: from Gemini Enterprise to Vertex AI and the latest GenAI tools.

Cloud Platform Engineering for 40+ Teams

• You will manage the entire Google Cloud Platform infrastructure and provide support for cloud-specific requirements |
• You will develop Security & IAM Engineering with least-privilege concepts and automated governance processes.
• You build self-service solutions and infrastructure-as-code with Terraform to enable teams to independently manage cloud resources.
• You automate recurring processes and develop DevOps workflows that increase the efficiency of the entire organization.

Innovation & Automation

• You invest some of your time in automation and tool development to reduce future support efforts and efficiently solve recurring routine tasks.
• You build monitoring, alerting, and security automation that enable proactive incident prevention.
• You document critical systems and eliminate knowledge silos through cross-training and knowledge sharing.
• You continuously develop the cloud platform and contribute new ideas for self-service capabilities.

• Solid experience with the infrastructure and administration of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Solid knowledge of IAM and security architecture (RBAC, Least Privilege, Workload Identity Federation)
• Experience with GCP project structure, organizational guidelines and governance
• Practical experience in containerization and orchestration (CloudBuild, CloudRun, Kubernetes, Gitlab-CI, etc.)
• Knowledge in the field of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
• Experience with platform engineering and SRE practices
• Solid knowledge in the areas of monitoring, alerting and incident management
• Platform engineering mindset (self-service, automation, ease of use)
• Support and on-call experience with production systems
• Programming and automation skills (Python, Bash or similar)
• Knowledge of the selection, deployment, and operational management of GenAI tools
• Practical experience with current (Gen)AI/ML platforms
• Understanding of AI governance, cost management, and security aspects
• Ability to support data science and ML engineering teams
• Confident demeanor in advisory roles towards stakeholders
• Ability to translate technical concepts for a non-technical audience
• Experience in collaborating with multiple teams and balancing competing priorities
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
