Job Description

With over 650 colleagues at 19 locations across Germany, we at teccle are shaping the future of IT. Since 2020, we have been bringing together strong IT companies with diverse specializations under one roof – thus developing into one of the leading IT service providers in the country. Our goal: to create IT solutions that truly make a difference – understandable, flexible, and future-proof. For our clients, and together with a team that loves technology as much as new ideas.

As part of the teccle group, etomer stands for automation, containerization, and secure cloud solutions in the critical infrastructures of German SMEs. To strengthen our independent and predominantly remote Linux team, currently consisting of 7 colleagues, we are looking for dedicated support as soon as possible.

What you will do with us

With us, it's not just what you can do that counts – but also what you achieve. In this role, you will contribute to the following:

  • Further development and stabilization of modern Kubernetes and cloud environments through Infrastructure as Code , automated deployments and modular infrastructure components ( Terraform , Helm , Kustomize )

  • Design, implementation and optimization of advanced CI/CD and GitOps workflows , including automated tests, security scans and modern deployment strategies with GitHub Actions , GitLab CI , Jenkins , Azure DevOps and ArgoCD/Flux

  • Sovereign operation and automation of containerized platforms ( Docker, Kubernetes ) as well as implementation of complex operational processes with Bash/Python - with the ability to assume technical leadership as needed.

  • Development and enhancement of high-performance observability and reliability solutions using Prometheus , Grafana , and CheckMK for monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and logging.

  • Integration and optimization of modern multi-cloud architectures in the context of major public cloud providers ( Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform ), including cost optimization, resource management and integration of cloud-native services.

  • Professional support for demanding projects for clients, for example through assessments, consulting, workshops and active knowledge exchange within the team.

What makes you shine with us

Nobody meets every requirement. If you're curious and interested in the task, we'd still love to receive your application, even if not everything is a 100% match.

  • You bring in-depth experience with Kubernetes and container technologies , including an understanding of the architecture (control plane, etcd, scheduler) as well as confident handling of deployments , stateful sets , daemon sets and modern runtimes such as containerd or CRI-O.

  • You have in-depth knowledge of cloud computing ( AWS, Azure or GCP ), use cloud-native services and work confidently with container registries.

  • You are proficient in modern CI/CD and GitOps workflows and confidently use tools such as ArgoCD/Flux , GitHub Actions , GitLab CI , Jenkins or Azure DevOps - including modern deployment strategies.

  • You are proficient in working with Infrastructure as Code and automation, e.g., with Helm , Kustomize , Bash/Shell , and Python , and have a good understanding of the Kubernetes API , YAML , and JSON.

  • You have knowledge of security and observability , such as RBAC, pod security, secrets management, and common monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

  • You impress with your structured work style, clear communication and self-organization , complemented by desirable skills such as mentoring, time management and relevant certifications (e.g. CKA, CKAD, CKS), and are willing to travel occasionally (0- max. 20% of working time).

  • You communicate confidently in German and English - within the team, with customers and in everyday life.

  • You live in Germany and are authorized to work here – this allows us to work together smoothly and efficiently in everyday life.

You can look forward to that.

With us, you get more than just a job. We want you to develop professionally, feel comfortable, and contribute to shaping the future. Here are a few reasons why you'll enjoy working for us:

  • More freedom: 30 days of vacation, flexible working hours and up to 25 days of working in other EU countries.

  • Work the way that suits you: Whether in the office or from home - you decide what works best for you.

  • Knowledge that moves you forward: Certifications, individual training courses and space for your development

  • A welcoming culture with heart: A collegial team and genuine togetherness

  • Good working environment: Modern technology and clear structures

  • Secure and fair conditions: attractive salary, company bike scheme, company pension scheme and support via meinEAP, our free counselling service – also for your family
