We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) for a renowned client in the defense sector in Dresden or Kiel.

Your tasks:

  • As a DevOps Engineer, you are part of a DevOps Squad of four DevOps Engineers and support the development of IT platforms.
  • They are part of the Application Software Platform team and are responsible for building container-based customer platforms as well as development platforms.
  • They are responsible for the implementation and evaluation of DevOps strategies and processes.
  • In collaboration with development teams, you ensure the integration of DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • You will contribute your experience to the creation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines for the automation of software builds and deployments.

Your profile:

  • Completed studies in computer science or a comparable qualification, as well as experience in platform or DevOps engineering.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design using tools such as GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins, as well as container technologies such as Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of automation of Linux and Windows server systems
  • Teamwork skills, strong communication skills, and an independent, structured, and solution-oriented work style.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills complete your profile.
