Better at d&b: As a DevOps Engineer (f/m/d).
As a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) at d&b, you'll find the perfect environment for both professional and personal growth. Geographically, because we have an international presence. Technically, because we've established ourselves as a leader in the pro audio industry, setting international standards and eager to share our knowledge and skills with you. And personally, because at d&b you can shape the future of music, sound, and technology alongside sound-obsessed colleagues.
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) to join our R&D Software team, responsible for maintaining and expanding our internal toolchain environment. This role involves supporting various agile software development teams and working closely with our in-house IT department. How does that sound to you? Hopefully as good as our audio solutions!
Then let's look together at your future tasks:
- Maintenance, improvement and updating of the developer toolchain
- Maintenance, optimization and further development of the CI/CD infrastructure in cooperation with the IT department
- Participation in budget planning for improvements and expansions of the development and operational infrastructure
- Coordination and collaboration with the development teams and management to ensure a stable and modern infrastructure
- Maintenance and continuous improvement of existing systems and processes
- Support in integrating new tools and technologies into the development environment
- Documentation and testing of infrastructure changes, as well as version control
That's your job. Now, our expectations of you.
Are you wondering what qualifications and skills you should have? Let's find out together if this position is right for you:
- University degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable vocational training
- Experience in DevOps, especially with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bitbucket, Bitbucket Pipelines, Github Actions, AWS)
- Knowledge of managing and automating development and build environments (e.g., Docker, Ansible, Chocolatey)
- Knowledge of Windows and MacOS build environments
- Experience in collaborating with agile software development teams
- Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
- Structured and independent work style as well as strong teamwork skills
- Interest in new technologies and continuous improvement
