As a Technical Architect / Scrum Developer (m/f/d) – Business Intelligence Team, you are part of our agile Scrum team and make a crucial contribution to the conception, further development and implementation of our cloud-based data warehouse and analytics platform.

ANAXCO is one of the most innovative software providers for cloud-based transport management systems. Based on the ERP Microsoft Dynamics 365, we develop and operate a transport management system (TMS) that provides transport logistics companies with end-to-end solutions for the automated processing of freight forwarding and transport orders.

At our locations in Sprockhövel and Würzburg, we are constantly working on the further development of CargoSuite with the aim of helping well-known forwarding companies implement a future-proof digitalization strategy.

The five-person Business Intelligence (BI) team at Anaxco develops and manages the high-performance and innovative data management and analytics solutions surrounding our cloud-based logistics platform "CargoSuite," built on Dynamics 365 F&O. We also support a major client in the banking sector with various customized database and web applications. Our goal is to provide clients and internal teams with efficient and transparent decision-making tools and to develop software solutions that increase automation to simplify daily work.

As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of our software solutions. You will utilize your sound technical understanding and keen sense of data to develop efficient solutions and optimally implement customer requirements. You will always keep the added value for customers and departments in mind and actively support the vision of a transparent, integrated, and user-friendly software solution.

Solution Architect (m/f/d) – Business Intelligence Team

Your job

• Conceptualization, development and support of data warehouse solutions based on the Microsoft BI stack (SQL Server, Reporting Services, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric)

• Creation of automated ETL processes and integration of diverse data sources

• Development and implementation of dashboards and reports with Power BI

• Responsible support of existing web and analytics solutions at our clients' sites.

• Close collaboration with logistics and operational product teams to ensure seamless integration of data flows and reporting.

• Promoting self-service BI to empower users to act independently.

• Proactive identification of optimization potential and ensuring high data quality and consistency

Your profile

• Professional skills
  • Experience with Microsoft services for data management and analytics (SQL Server, Reporting Services, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric)
  • Solid knowledge in the areas of data integration, ETL processes and data warehousing
  • Good knowledge of SQL
  • Strong knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language – ideally C# in a Microsoft environment. Experience with Java or Python is also very welcome.
  • Advantageous: Experience in Dynamics 365 R&O and knowledge of AI-supported data analysis (Azure AI)

  • Ability to analyze complex data structures and visualize them in a user-friendly way
  • Experience in the development and implementation of automated reporting and monitoring processes
  • Strong analytical skills with a clear focus on business benefits

  • Excellent communication skills for conveying technical content to other teams and subject matter experts (e.g. Chief Product Owner, management, customers and sales)
  • Self-initiative, willingness to learn and enjoyment in independently exploring new data-related topics
  • Team orientation and ability to work closely with interdisciplinary product teams
  • Advantageous: Experience in working independently within agile Scrum teams and in using agile methods and tools
