Data Engineer (m/w/d)

Work location: 60311, Frankfurt
What you can expect:
  • Support for the development and expansion of the data infrastructure
  • Responsibility for the architecture, design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of databases and big data platforms
  • Creation and expansion of ETL processes for the data and application landscape
  • Programming and development of data interfaces for analytics applications
  • Monitoring and analysis of analytics applications
  • Analysis, design and development of scripts or software
  • Advising specialist departments on the creation of data-driven applications
What you should bring:
    • Completed diploma/master's degree in IT, e.g., business informatics or a comparable qualification
    • Several years of experience as a Java developer and data engineer, ideally in large, agile IT programs.
    • Extensive and demonstrable knowledge in the field of data engineering and Java development
    • Extensive experience with the following technologies: Java, Scala 2.12, Spark 3, Kafka Streams&Connect, Hortonworks, EMR, MongoDB, DocumentDB, Influx, Grafana, Jenkins, Fortify, SonarCube, Angular2+, SpringBoot, ECS, Docker
    • Experience in managing various stakeholders (especially: coordination with technical operations and other development projects, moderating and advising in exchanges with product managers)
    • Excellent German skills, both spoken and written.
