Data Engineer – Focus on Programming & Data Pipelines*

Do you love making data flow, processing large amounts of data efficiently, and building clean pipelines? Is your focus clearly on development and data processing? Then you've come to the right place

• You work in a consulting environment and develop new and varied data solutions for different clients.
• You will develop scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines for batch and streaming processing and work with Spark / PySpark, Python and SQL.
• You implement data models according to Kimball, Data Vault, or Lakehouse principles.
• You transform, normalize, and denormalize data from various source systems.
• You orchestrate data pipelines with Airflow or similar tools and work with Databricks, Snowflake or similar platforms.
• You support data analysis and machine learning pipelines.
• You ensure quality through testing, documentation, and CI/CD.

What you bring

• You bring several years of professional experience in the above-mentioned topics and have very good SQL skills as well as very good knowledge of Spark / PySpark.
• You are proficient in Python and have experience with dbt and Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
• You are proficient in using Snowflake and/or Databricks and experienced in data modeling (dimensional modeling, Data Vault, normalization & denormalization).
• You think analytically and enjoy solving complex data problems cleanly.
