Job Description
To strengthen our IT team, we are looking for a Data Engineer (m/f/d) who will be responsible for setting up and operating our data platform and will also take on responsibility in the area of EDI / data exchange with customers and partners
Your responsibilities:
Development, operation, and further development of our company-wide data platform
Design and implementation of high-performance data structures and data processes
Integration of data from various core systems
Provision of data in consumable formats (e.g., Power BI, Excel)
Participation in IT and digitization projects
Development and support of interfaces to customers and partners (EDI)
We use Lobster_data as our EDI platform and the Integration Suite (Business Technology Platform, SAP)
You bring the following with you:
Completed studies in the field of data engineering, (business) informatics or comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience desirable
Basic understanding of EDI processes and interface architectures
Experience in project and requirements management
Excellent knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Fabric
Strong customer and service orientation
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Fluent German, good written and spoken English
