AI Solution Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Shape the future of our AI landscape: Design the architecture and technical concept of our company-wide AI platform, thus laying the foundation for the productive use of AI
• Define the way forward: You will develop a clear roadmap for the introduction, expansion, and further development of the platform – together with specialist departments and technical expert teams.
• Translate opportunities into solutions: Work closely with specialist departments, identify and evaluate real-world use cases, and develop practical, value-creating AI applications from them. You will collaborate with our established AI power users who actively drive innovative solutions forward.
• Make AI tangible: Develop and operationalize Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions – for example, for document analysis, decision support, or to support construction management.
• Drive innovation: You experiment with new ideas, build prototypes, evaluate tools, and set standards for the company's future AI landscape.
• Ensure responsibility and safety : In all your developments, you keep security, data protection and compliance in mind – and ensure that our AI solutions are operated responsibly.

Your Profile

• Technical Foundation: Completed studies in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or a comparable field
• Expertise that convinces: Extensive experience in the development or design of AI or data platforms, as well as in the productive use of AI applications.
• Strong technical skills: Very good knowledge of Python and common ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow or Hugging Face Transformers
• Mastering tech diversity: Experience with Microsoft, OpenAI and open-source technologies
• Understanding responsibility: Sound knowledge of governance, data protection and IT security in the context of AI
• Strategy meets pragmatism: You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on mentality and the ambition to actively shape structures.
• Team player with a drive for innovation: Enjoys interdisciplinary collaboration, openness to new technologies and the desire to create solutions with visible impact.
• Language skills: Very good German skills and good English skills
