Cyber Security Consultant (m/w/d)

We are immediately seeking a full-time Cyber ​​Security Consultant (m/f/d) for our Augsburg (hybrid) location .

Tasks

• You advise our clients on the development and further development of cybersecurity strategies, concepts and architectures.
• You will present our Netz16 Cyber ​​Security Portfolio in pre-sales events such as workshops, webinars, proofs of concept (PoCs), and technical sessions.
• You will continuously develop our cybersecurity services in the areas of cloud security, identity security, endpoint security, zero trust, and compliance.
• You will assume product responsibility for selected security services (e.g., Managed Firewall, SIEM/SOC/MDR, Vulnerability Management or User Awareness).
• You will provide technical support for our Managed Security Services and assist with incident and problem analyses.
• You plan, implement and oversee security projects in on-premises, hybrid and cloud environments.
• You commission complex IT and security systems, integrate them into existing environments and operate them – remotely or on-site at the customer's premises.

• You have completed a degree in a technical or IT field or vocational training (e.g. as an IT specialist) – committed career changers with relevant security experience are also welcome.
• You have very good knowledge of the Microsoft environment (e.g. AD/AAD/Entra ID, Windows Server, clients, M365, Defender Suite, ideally Azure).
• You have good knowledge of modern network technologies such as LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, DNS, DHCP and routing.
• You have experience with common cybersecurity technologies and cloud security approaches, especially Zero Trust, cloud-native security, EDR/XDR and secure email/messaging.
• Ideally, you have already gained initial experience with cyber security frameworks and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, BSI Basic Protection, TISAX, NIS2, CIS Controls).
• You impress with your professional demeanor as well as your communication and presentation skills.
• You work in a structured, independent and quality-oriented manner – even in challenging situations.
• You have very good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
