Tasks

  • Responsible conceptualization, development and implementation of data science applications with a focus on GenAI and LLMs in cross-functional teams
  • Performing complex modeling tasks in the field of machine learning (for example, Random Forest, Gradient Boosting) and in the context of Large Language Models (LLMs) and their fine-tuning.
  • Visualizing and analyzing large datasets to detect bias or data drift and to ensure data quality
  • Conception, development and validation of highly complex machine learning and statistical models for demanding applications
  • Evaluation and implementation of new state-of-the-art algorithms and technologies, including deep learning and NLP
  • Strategic and technical involvement in shaping the company-wide technology landscape for further development into an AI-savvy organization.

DRV Bund IT is the service provider for the German Federal Pension Insurance Fund (Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund) and develops and operates a complex IT system landscape in close collaboration with its clients.

profile

  • A successfully completed academic university education (Master's or Diploma) in an IT, economics, natural sciences or engineering field.
  • Extensive professional experience in the development of ML methods and the modeling of complex automated AI systems, including several years of professional experience as a Data Scientist
  • Demonstrable project experience with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and at least one AI reference project
  • Several years of practical experience in Python including common machine learning frameworks (for example, scikit-learn, PyTorch) and experience with advanced analytics technologies/tools.
  • Extensive knowledge of advanced statistical methods and causal inference, as well as proven expertise in various ML algorithms.
  • Knowledge of database management systems, container technologies (for example, Kubernetes) and their interaction with classic database environments
  • Proactive communication skills, a strong willingness to cooperate, and networked thinking in agile collaboration round off your profile.
