Their mission
In collaboration with Data Owners and Product Engineers, you are responsible for identifying and designing internal technical data sources to enable statistically relevant modeling of product functions such as focusability or efficiency across the bandwidth.
This also includes the following tasks
Taking over the daily management of relevant data from Ulm and deciding how to handle it within one's own area of responsibility.
Participation in international projects and data assessment (in accordance with data specifications such as format, structure, content, and classification) in cooperation with various experts.
Creation, verification and interpretation of statistical models as well as formulation and internal coordination of active interventions to improve relevant product parameters.
Improvement of the data architecture in collaboration with various IT departments and organization of the interface between database and Data Analyser®
Development and critical evaluation of the models, including verification through targeted product interventions and establishment of improvements in internal processes, as well as the introduction of new materials or processes.
A completed university degree or a comparable qualification with a technical background
Experience in mechanical manufacturing and in handling data and data transfers
Knowledge of statistical data analysis and the Six Sigma approach is desirable.
Fluent German and English skills
Careful, independent and flexible work style as well as teamwork and communication skills
