Working Student AI Agent Engineer (m/f/d)

Do you want to noticeably improve software quality and enjoy systematically putting products through their paces? We're looking for working students to support our team in manual testing – fully remotely and with flexible weekly hours (e.g., 15 hours one week, 20 hours the next, then 10 hours – depending on need and availability).

Your tasks will include, among other things:

• Development, testing and improvement of our AI worker and agent flows
• Use of AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex or similar)
• Structured creation and iteration of prompts and agent logics
• Manual and exploratory testing of new features and workflows
• Documentation and analysis of bugs, as well as suggestions for product and UX improvements.
• Creation and maintenance of test cases, prompt tests, and evaluation scenarios.
• Close collaboration with Project Operations and Product Management
• Enrolled student (e.g., computer science, business informatics, data science, etc.)
• Interest in AI tools, agent systems and AI-supported development
• Prior experience with LLMs, prompting, or AI tools is advantageous.
• Proficient use of the terminal and a common IDE
• Basic understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD); experience with Spec-Driven Development (SDD) is a plus.
• Careful and structured work methods with high quality standards
• Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
• Reliable remote work style and good self-organization

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor)
• First experience with testing or QA
• Interest in AI Agents/Automation
