Data Analyst / Data Management Specialist (m/f/d)

The position in IT plays a crucial role in the further development of Haema: You ensure that our organization can access reliable, modern and well-structured data – as a basis for informed decisions, efficient processes and the sustainable development of our approximately 40 donation centers.

At the same time, the role offers considerable scope for shaping the future: You will modernize our data infrastructure, develop new reporting structures, and create standards that will shape the company in the long term. With your expertise, you will actively shape our data landscape – from robust pipelines to intuitive dashboards – and enable our departments to work more securely, quickly, and in a more data-driven way.

Your tasks

• Provision and monitoring of data pipelines, troubleshooting and processing of data requests from the specialist departments

• Operation and continuous improvement of our data architecture – from classic SQL databases to modern cloud solutions with Microsoft Fabric and Azure.

• Developing meaningful dashboards and data models in Power BI

• Training of specialist users regarding evaluations (self-service analytics)

• Evaluation of new technologies and gradual development of the data landscape for future requirements such as AI and automation

• Close collaboration with our data specialists and the specialist departments

Your profile

• At least two years of professional experience in the field of data management, analytics or engineering

• Ideally, a completed degree in (business) informatics, data science, mathematics or a comparable qualification.

• Good SQL skills including complex queries, joints and data modeling

• Experience with data warehouse concepts and an understanding of company-wide data flows

• Solid knowledge of Power BI and ideally initial experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure or other cloud data platforms.

• Enjoyment in clearly communicating technical content to non-technical target groups.

• Good German and English skills
