We are looking for a Data Scientist (all genders) to join THE MARCOM ENGINE (part of the Serviceplan Group) at our Munich location as soon as possible.
What you can expect from us:
- Development and maintenance of marketing mix models for quantifying marketing ROI
- Development of precise CLV models to support retention and CRM strategies
- Design robust forecasting models based on modern Bayesian frameworks
- Using machine learning and automation to scale analytics and accelerate insights.
- Conducting Monte Carlo simulations for scenario planning and decision support
- Using geospatial analytics to evaluate market, location, and retail performance
- Further development of methods such as Causal Inference, Incrementality, Attribution or NLP
- Development of modern analytical models that show how marketing measurably contributes to business growth – from media effectiveness to customer lifetime value.
- Working in a multidisciplinary team of data science, strategy and automation to further develop data-driven marketing measurement and optimization.
- Collaboration with consulting and strategy teams to translate analysis results into clear, action-oriented business recommendations.
What we expect from you:
- A successfully completed degree in a quantitative, analytical or business-related field – e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, (Business) Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience as a data scientist or marketing analyst – ideally with a strong focus on statistical modeling and marketing analytics, preferably from an agency or dynamic environment.
- Deep understanding of marketing effectiveness, consumer behavior, and growth strategies
- Proven expertise in marketing mix modeling, customer lifetime value models, and forecasting.
- Excellent knowledge of Python and relevant libraries such as PyMC, NumPy, pandas, scikit learn, Prophet or TensorFlow
- Experience in using machine learning and automation to accelerate analytical workflows
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as GCP, AWS or Azure, as well as common visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Looker.
- Ability to understand and strategically interpret complex statistical results;
curiosity, initiative, and a collaborative working style.
- Knowledge in the field of information security and information security awareness
