Who are we?
cap-on supports machine and plant manufacturers with a plug-and-play IoT solution and associated web platform to easily implement data-based business models such as pay-per-use, remote service or fleet digitization.
We not only have many years of experience in developing scalable, production-ready IoT applications, but also a strong partner in the industry with thyssenkrupp.
Who are we looking for?
- 3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer
- Track record of the realization and/or support of own software projects in production
- Extensive knowledge of Python and/or Golang & modern standards
- Infra/DevOps: Docker, Linux, Shell, Cloud Architecture (AWS)
- You speak fluent German and English.
- You will work 3 out of 5 days in our Berlin office. Exceptions are possible.
Nice-to-have knowledge includes:
- Advanced DevOps (K8s, CI/CD, Infra-as-Code)
- Industrial protocols: OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, S7, ADS and others
- DBs: Postgres, Redis, Clickhouse
- A completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or a related field is advantageous.
- Web technologies: JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, React
