Job Description

When it comes to campus management, we're second to none. Since 2002, we've been expanding our expertise in the digitalization of university processes and continuously developing ourselves and our software. Our success speaks for itself: More and more European universities are relying on our academyFIVE solution .
And we have even bigger plans: With our campus management system, we not only want to become the market leader , but also actively shape the future of education .

Every new university that joins our network brings with it a key task: data from previously used systems needs to be migrated. This can be complex, often sensitive – and that's exactly why we're looking for you !

As a Junior Data Analyst in the Migration department, you will support the structured and reliable transfer of data into our software, laying the foundation for successful projects. Join our team and a collaborative environment where we treat each other with respect and where everyone contributes to our shared success.

Here's what you can expect:

  • You will be involved in the planning and implementation of projects in an agile environment – with a focus on data migrations.
  • You support our university clients from conception to implementation and ensure that data is transferred from legacy systems to our academyFIVE software in a structured and efficient manner.
  • You coordinate appointments, plan technical and scheduling processes, and liaise closely with internal and external project stakeholders.
  • You will collaborate on technical solutions and concepts and contribute your ideas to their implementation.
  • You will transfer data into our MySQL database and use various tools for preparation and migration.

Requirements:

  • Good basic technical understanding, especially in dealing with databases and SQL.
  • Basic programming skills and/or experience in data migration are advantageous.
  • Structured work methods as well as organizational and coordination skills
  • Strong communication skills and a confident demeanor when interacting with various stakeholders
  • Solution-oriented thinking and a goal-oriented approach
  • Teamwork skills, initiative, and a willingness to take on responsibility
  • Good German and English skills, both spoken and written.

Why Simovative?

  • Startup spirit meets experience : We have been successful on the market for many years – and yet we have maintained a collaborative approach that is open, direct and on equal terms.
  • Work the way you are most productive : Whether it's working from home or having a fixed workplace in our Munich office with a roof terrace and excellent transport links – you decide what suits you best.
  • Develop yourself further : We support your strengths individually – for example, with further training via DataCamp, our SIMO DEV Week, or by attending conferences. If you want, you can grow quickly and take on responsibility with us.
  • Well taken care of : From company pension schemes with attractive employer contributions via EGYM Wellpass and JobRad to sports events, free drinks and fruit in the office – we ensure that you feel completely comfortable and stay fit.
  • A team that sticks together : Flat hierarchies, genuine cooperation and space for exchange – in everyday project work as well as at the foosball table or on the roof terrace.
  • More than just work : Regular events such as summer parties, Oktoberfest or team events ensure that fun is not neglected.
  • Purpose and impact : With our software, we shape the education of tomorrow and take on responsibility – even beyond the job, e.g. as part of our Social Days.
